Volunteering
Want to do something challenging and rewarding? Then volunteering at Big Fish Project could be for you!
Our dream and vision will not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our Volunteers particularly those with experience in working with vulnerable people, farming, animal care, woodwork, or horticulture. We will have many different roles and positions designed to support our Attendees; from helping with the animals, growing fruit and veg, ensuring the area is free from weeds, or repairing areas around the farm.
Please note that the volunteer role is physically demanding, as it involves farm work. It is an outdoor role, often in cold and wet conditions, and requires being on your feet for most of the day. However, it is also incredibly rewarding, enjoyable, and fun!
All volunteers working with Attendees must undergo an enhanced DBS check. If you're interested in joining us, please contact us to discuss our available positions. Use our contact form to get in touch. We do ask volunteers to provide their own food and drink. Toilets and hand washing facilities are available onsite.
To ensure consistency for our Attendees, we ask that all volunteers are over 18 and able to make a regular commitment.
Together, we can change lives
